The GRK R4 Multi-Purpose Framing Screws feature cutting pockets that provide a clean hole, reduce splitting, and bore with precision. The R4 screws are self-tapping, countersinking into even the hardest woods, the 6 self-contained cutting pockets act like a router and transport the drill dust away from the edge of the screw hole. The CEE enlarges the screw hole for the non-threaded portion of the fastener to reduce splitting. The screw head closes the hole off with precision, leaving no damaged fibers around the head. Approved for exterior or interior use, the R4 Screws are Ideal for use in plastic, cement fiber board, sheet metal, wood decking and melamine.
