Description
Use this deck post kit with Ultra Max Adams aluminum railing. The textured black aluminum post is available in 38-in. or 44-in. lengths. A base plate is welded to the bottom of the post for easier mounting. Wedges are included to level and stabilize the post when installing. Post is high-strength aluminum with a durable powder coat finish thats thicker and harder than typical baked enamel coatings (exceeds AAMA 2604 standards). Note that hardware to attach post to substrate is not included. Base plate holes can accept up to a 3/8 in. or M10 fastener. Check local building codes for recommended fasteners. Helpful tools: level, rubber mallet, cordless drill, 13/54 in. drill bit, #3 screwdriver bit, measuring tape. A speed square (aka rafter or triangle square) will help you place the post accurately.
