Specified Technologies Ready SpecSeal Firestop Products Firestop split sleeve kit includes one 2.000-Inch split sleeve, two split escutcheon plates, two split firestop gaskets, firestop putty and labels. Kit is designed for existing cabling installations. Split sleeve features a zinc plated steel construction for enhanced durability. It has a simple design and is installed around an existing cable bundle. Two piece split plates/gaskets capture the sleeve and lock it tightly to the barrier. Sleeve kit helps in protecting, supporting and sealing cables that are routed through rated and non-rated walls/floors. It is ideal for gypsum board/stud wall assemblies that are up to 10-Inch thick. It includes rolled lip for optimum cable protection. Firestop putty comes with the kit and is ideal to seal ends up to 1-Inch depth. Split sleeve kit is UL classified and code compliant.
