The polypropylene case houses the brass swivel and fluid path, the steel main shaft, and the steel spring. The case resists most acids, alkalis, and UV rays, and protects and keeps the hose clean. These lightweight reels mount on a wall, ceiling, or the floor. Enclosed air or water hose reels with air or water hoses are commonly used with pneumatic tools and for water service.
