The metalized jacket provides strength and protection with a two-ply polyester core that encapsulates a high carbon steel wire helix, and its vapor barrier is reinforced with fiberglass scrim to ensure high durability and tear resistance. Fiberglass insulation furnishes an outstanding thermal protection with an R value of R6.0.
