Marinco 2018BP-24 Trolling Motor Plug 12/24V

For boats with electric trolling motors, Marinco’s ingenious trolling motor/battery charging system simplifies power management and eliminates the need for a charge/run switch. When installed, this system allows you to power your trolling motor or charge your boat’s batteries – all through a single cockpit mounted twist-lock receptacle. This red Charger Plug is one component of the system described below. Install the receptacle in the cockpit and wire it to the boat’s batteries. Mount the black trolling motor plug on the trolling motor cables, and the red charger plug on the leads from the battery charger. Simply plug in the black plug to troll, or the red plug to charge. Rated up to 30 amps at 12 or 24 volts The red Charger Plug is wired to the leads from a 12V battery charger and, when plugged in, back-feeds through the receptacle to allow charging of one or two 12V batteries The black Trolling Motor Plug is wired to the power leads to the trollong motor to supply 12V or 24V power to the trolling motor when plugged into the receptacle. The plug has an internal jumper to handle either a single 12V battery for 12V trolling motors, or two 12V batteries for 24V trolling motors. The Receptacle is glass reinforced, corrosion resistant nylon.
