Drill America Contractor Grade Drill Bits are manufactured from M1 High Speed Steel. They are black and gold surface treated for use in a wide range of materials in the iron and steel families such aluminum, iron, steel and other metal drilling. They can also be used in softer materials such as wood and plastic. Drill America Contractor Grade Drill Bits have a 135° split point tip for accurate drilling. Compared to a conventional 118° tip, these drills wont go walking on you. These drills have a 3-Flat shank which creates an extra secure hold in your chuck.
